As the Manager for Strategy and Impact, Niranjan supports planning and evaluation efforts at Education Forward DC. He believes in education as a core driver of social mobility, and was drawn to Education Forward DC’s explicit commitment to disrupt patterns of racial inequity. Prior to joining the team, Niranjan served as a Performance Manager at the Texas Education Agency and as a Policy Analyst at the Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE). In these roles, Niranjan helped plan and evaluate state agency programs and initiatives to help maximize impact for students. Niranjan is a two-time graduate of the University of Maryland, earning a BA in Government and Politics and a Master’s degree in Public Policy. A first-generation American born and raised in Maryland, Niranjan now lives in the Eckington neighborhood with his partner, Samantha, and their dog, Toby. In his free time, he loves to try new restaurants and attend sporting events.
