Julia is a Senior Associate on the External Relations team, supporting the development, governance, and external partnerships work of Education Forward DC. Julia believes in the power of education to equip and empower students with the skills and confidence to chart a fulfilling life path. However, recognizing that existing education systems do not prepare all students for success, she was drawn to Education Forward DC’s outspoken commitment to addressing racial injustice in pursuit of great outcomes for all students.

Before joining Education Forward DC in 2024, Julia worked in consulting, managing data analysis and reporting, public engagement, and grant application development for statewide agencies and regional coalitions. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Virginia, earning a BA in Public Policy and Leadership. Born and raised in San Francisco, Julia loves the Golden State Warriors, fog, burritos, and hilly golf. She now lives in Adams Morgan, where she enjoys exploring new coffee shops and restaurants.
