On Monday, January 28th, Education Forward DC hosted a webinar to explain how we partner with organizations and entrepreneurs to achieve our five year goal to double the number of underserved students in DC who are college and career ready.
During the webinar, our CEO and the leads of our four strategy areas provided an overview of our mission and model, described our four funding strategies (Schools, Human Capital, Public Engagement, and Advocacy), and outlined our grant making process. They also answered questions from participants about a range of topics, from average grant size to eligibility criteria to how we work with other education stakeholders in the city.
A recording of the webinar is available below for anyone who is interested in learning more about Education Forward DC. We are always interested in learning about organizations and entrepreneurs that are passionate about increasing quality and equity for all DC students and welcome inquiries. We are particularly interested in supporting leaders of color.
Contact information for the grant making team is included in the webinar, and you can always email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll make sure your question gets to the right person on our team.
