Urban Teachers aims to solve the critical challenge of teacher quality in urban areas by equipping new teachers with the tools they need to make an immediate difference in student learning. Since its founding in 2009, Urban Teachers has grown from training 39 new teachers to serve 11 schools to training over 500 teachers to serve 93 schools.
