Education Forward DC welcomes five new board members

In March 2025, the Ed Forward DC board elected five new individuals to the board of directors. These new board members bring decades of experience and expertise in DC and national K-12 education, DC government and communities, data and research, finance, fundraising, law, and strategy.

We are grateful to have this esteemed group of individuals join our board, value their commitment to Ed Forward DC’s mission and vision, and look forward to the insights and perspectives they will bring to our work.

Dane Anderson is a Partner at Bain & Company. He is a member of the firm’s Retail and M&A practices and is also involved in Bain’s Higher Education and K-12 Education practices. Between his times at Bain, Dane spent eight years as the COO and CFO of KIPP DC, the largest charter school network in the District of Columbia. Dane was also a 2007 Teach For America Corps Member in rural New Mexico where he taught 7th and 8th grade math.

Reverend Ademuyiwa T. Bamiduro is an ordained Baptist minister and the Senior Pastor of the historic Walker Memorial Baptist Church in Northwest, Washington, DC. Under his leadership, Walker Memorial has flourished, deepening its impact in the community. In addition to his pastoral duties, Reverend Bamiduro is a Vice President & Deputy General Counsel at Zuora, Inc., where he oversees the company’s global compliance and litigation.

Dr. Christina Grant is the Executive Director of the Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University. In this role, she fosters partnerships that apply rigorous research to improve educational outcomes. Previously, she served as the State Superintendent of Education in Washington, DC, leading major initiatives in academic recovery and curriculum reform. Dr. Grant also held roles in leadership in Philadelphia and New York City, and as a public school teacher in Harlem.

Jeanie Lee is the Chief Program Officer at the XQ Institute. In this role, she spearheads initiatives to redesign high school education nationwide. Her extensive career encompasses roles such as President and Executive Director of the DC Public Education Fund, Chief of Staff in the Office of Teaching and Learning at DC Public Schools, Director of Education at Fight for Children, and educator.

Nick Rodriguez is CEO of Delivery Associates. A global expert on the theory and practice of Deliverology, Nick leads Delivery Associates in driving impact. Before stepping into the role of CEO, Nick worked to build Delivery Associates’ impact in North America and other regions. Prior to joining Delivery Associates, he was co-founder and K-12 director at the Education Delivery Institute (EDI) and an engagement manager with McKinsey & Company’s education practice. Nick also recently concluded his term as a member of the DC Public Charter School Board.
