Dr. Christina Grant is the Executive Director of the Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University, where she fosters partnerships that apply rigorous research to improve educational outcomes. Previously, she served as the State Superintendent of Education in Washington, DC, leading major initiatives in academic recovery and curriculum reform. Dr. Grant also held leadership roles in Philadelphia and New York City, focusing on school innovation and accountability. A former public school teacher in Harlem, she holds a doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania and master’s degrees from Columbia and Fordham Universities.
