Vicki Koussoglou


Vicki is the Senior Manager of Operations and oversees the operational and financial systems that support the work of Education Forward DC. Vicki’s dedication to educational equity in DC is rooted in her commitment to dismantling systems of oppression, and she believes in the power of people and communities in making systemic change. Her favorite thing about working at Ed Forward DC is the opportunity to build relationships with her terrific colleagues. Prior to joining Ed Forward DC in January 2017, Vicki served as Operations Manager at E.L. Haynes Public Charter School in Washington, DC, where she was responsible for the day to day operations of the middle school campus, served as an assistant coach for the middle school girls basketball team, and oversaw LEA-wide initiatives including student enrollment and vendor management. Earlier in her career, Vicki worked as a talent buyer and concert promoter in Washington, DC and as a community organizer in Richmond, VA. She holds a BA with high distinction honors in Sociology from the University of Virginia. Vicki is the child of immigrants and grew up in Virginia playing a lot of basketball and attending her neighborhood public schools. She spends much of her free time outside riding a bicycle or hiking with her dog.
